1.持機：用右手四指托住機座，大拇指自然的放在機身上蓋頂端，平穩(wěn)的持住整機。如圖(1)所示。

2.穿線：如圖（1）將線軸一的線輕輕拉出。穿過引線圈A，然后引入夾線調(diào)節(jié)片B。在穿過引線圈C。
引過的線頭暫時放在機針旁，另將穿線器從機針前面（向機身結(jié)合部）穿過機針孔，再將線頭引入穿線器小孔中，退出穿線器拉出線頭約2-3公分壓線板壓住即可待用。（見圖1）

3.放布：用右手食指抬起壓板，將準備好待縫的織物（厚度不超過0.8毫米）平整放入壓板下，輕輕放回壓板壓住織物；（見圖2）

4.縫紉操作：用左手持織物，右手大拇指輕輕的迅速地下壓上蓋頂端壓到底后，大拇指上臺再下壓，如此反復，送布機構(gòu)地洞將被縫物向左送出。持機右手逐漸右移，左手持布配合縫紉節(jié)奏輕輕將被縫物向左移動，直至縫紉結(jié)束：如（圖2）

5.本機能自動進布和調(diào)節(jié)針腳間的松緊，圖1（b）螺母調(diào)節(jié)。

6.換線團：如換用大線團，可將備用的接長桿與線筒軸連接，套入大線團。然后重新穿線，調(diào)整線的松緊后進縫制，（見圖3）；使用50#-90#棉線可合成線效果最好；

7.換針：松開固定螺絲，取出斷針。照（圖4）所示裝上新針，注意要將針的平整面對正固定螺絲，不可裝反。針型DHX-14.
